Our Auckland Workplace Solutions team were proud to be part of the recently completed 2degrees project. A beautiful fit out designed by Warren and Mahoney, delivering a modern, vibrant and engaging new home for 2degrees staff in central Auckland.
We partnered with the 2degrees project team to deliver and install 320 Desks with a range of customised features and accessories. We used our electric height adjust desking system, Tidal Premium to provide an ergonomic and flexible product solution for this project.
The order was confirmed in May 2021 and delivery and installation took place in July 2021.

To meet the needs of the design brief and technological requirements for the desking, we added 3 completely customised components to the system.
The worktops were all NZ made and manufactured in 3 colour ways to match the branding brief. The tops were also designed with a custom cut out to allow for an electronic booking system tablet for hot desking.
We locally manufactured a bespoke cable tray for each desk to ensure all cables were reticulated efficiently and to allow for easy access to anyone needing to make changes to the technology on each work point.
To complete the customisation process we designed and locally manufactured a joining plate through the cross beams and legs of the desking system. This further supported the efficient cable reticulation and ensured the overall aesthetic of the workstations remained on brief with a premium feel.
We went through a robust and considered project management process to ensure that we delivered to specification and to project milestones. This involved a layout and planning approval phase to confirm sizes and customised designs were correct. We created drawings for each desk set-up and mock ups for sign off. This process ensured a seamless install once the product arrived on site
Our project management team ran a smooth and tidy delivery program. Paying close attention to site considerations, milestones and other trades and vendors working on site at the same time.
Delivery and installation took place over seven working days, and we worked with a clear site policy. At the end of each day all waste was completely removed and all packaging and waste from the project was recycled in line with our sustainability policy.
This was a successful partnership and our specialists loved working with the 2degrees project team to deliver a fit for purpose and customised solution. We’ve had positive feedback from 2degrees about our turnaround time for custom sign off and for how efficient and tidy our delivery & install process was.
