Description
Forum Pods are a meeting space that assembles in 1-2 days. No cutting, no painting, no building. Minimal disruption, and you can take it with you.
To get your imagination going we’ve started with five standard modules.
- BOUNCE A semi-enclosed lounge environment. A meeting space for 4 people.
- BRIEF 3+1 Visually open from one side. A 4-6-person meeting room.
- BRIEF 2+2 Visually open on both sides. A 4-6-person meeting room.
- BRIEF + A BIT Visually open on both sides. An enclosed 4 – 6 person meeting space PLUS an additional alcove space for informal meetings, utility zone or a small kitchenette.
- BREAK + OUT or TAKE ONE An enclosed meeting space or office plus a semi enclosed breakout space for informal gatherings.
Forum Pods are designed to work with the existing air provision in the surrounding space and do not need additional air supply. The ceiling baffles do not restrict air movement from fit out ceiling diffusers.
The construction is a box frame structure with infill panels either glazed or solid. The ceiling is designed with a permanently open louvre system utilising a series of vertical acoustic baffles. The Pods comes complete with LED strip lights including remote control dimming.

Wall configuration is three acoustic panel walls and two wing walls of glass at the entry. No door. Supplied standard with 4-way power outlets to the base of one end wall & LED strip lighting on the ceiling with remote control dimming.

FORUM PODS
Forum Pods have been researched, developed and manufactured in New Zealand with a strong focus on Reducing, Recycling and Re-using. Forum Pods are almost entirely manufactured using products that are recyclable. The design allows for the reduction of waste when installing and relocating the Pods by removing the need to build traditional walls. Re-use the Forum Pods in future locations and customise the Pod to suit future business needs.
POWER
Cabled services enter Forum Pods via the top frame and are distributed to one short side of the enclosure, additional power can be provided upon request. Aluminium surface ducting with removable face plates reticulates the cabling from the top frame down to outlet positions either at floor level or at desktop/screen level. The drawing models in “Resources” show the individual Pod specifications.
LIGHTING
The Brief 2+2 & 3+1 Pods come complete with two LED lighting extrusions recessed above the ceiling baffles provide light to the central work area of 200 lux at 700mm above floor level (standard desk or table height). The Brief +a Bit Pod comes with one additional LED extrusion to the Bit alcove. The Break comes with two LED extrusions per unit & the Bounce only requires one LED light extrusion. All Pods are supplied with remote-control operation & are dimmable.
