Quotation Terms and Conditions

Health and safety

1. As part of the safety management process we are required to assess hazards on any site and take appropriate action to eliminate, isolate or minimise the hazard.
2. Any unforeseen hazards which occur on any site will be dealt with in the aforementioned manner.
3. Europlan will not be responsible for any delays or costs incurred while the identified hazard is resolved.
4. If there are delays to resolve the hazard then Europlan may charge extra for any additional costs incurred.
5. Our maximum working height is 3 meters without scaffolding or approved fixed platforms

Specifications

1. All work top surfaces are priced in low pressure laminate (LPL) unless otherwise specified.
2. All trims are standard colour unless otherwise specified.
3. Images are indicative only. Please refer to specifications for actual finishes.
4. Monitor arms if specified assume VESA compatible.

Stock availability

1. The quantity of imported stock quoted as being in stock is valid for 14 days only.

Delivery and Installation

1. If delivery & installation is quoted this includes all freight and installation and waste removal from site.
2. The quote for delivery and installation is valid for normal business hours (Monday to Friday 8am to 5.00pm). Outside these times additional costs will be incurred.
3. The quote is based on clear and easy access into and throughout the building including using appropriate lift access.
4. There will be additional costs if there is no suitable lift access.
5. The quote does not allow for removal of existing furniture unless otherwise expressly quoted.
6. Price based on full and complete order in one delivery unless otherwise stated

Delivery only

1. If delivery only is included this will be to ground floor
2. Product is to be checked thoroughly prior to signing. Europlan will not be held responsible for damage if the consignment has been signed to say it is received in good condition.

Electrical and data

1. All electrical components are an additional cost unless already quoted.
2. Europlan provide cable lay only. Connections to power outlets are to be undertaken by a registered electrician.
3. We connect soft cable management systems to desks but these will not be plugged into a live circuit. An electrician is required to be on site to switch the circuit off until everything applicable to our products is plugged in. The electrician’s costs will be at no cost to Europlan unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
4. All data is to be supplied and installed by others.

Variations

1. Any variation from the quote may incur additional costs and will be advised at the time.
2. Any delays of greater than seven (7) days to the agreed installation date will incur storage charges.
3. Any delay after four (4) weeks from original installation date will require the order to be prepaid in full.
4. Prices are based on the foreign exchange rate at the time of quote. Should there be an adverse exchange rate which leads to the increased costs of goods by more than 2% then Europlan reserves the right to adjust prices.

Building compliance & site responsibilities

1. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to undertake their own due diligence with respect to any applicable building regulations, codes, or compliance requirements prior to committing to purchase.
2. The team at Europlan are here to provide product specifications and general guidance, we do not assume responsibility for ensuring compliance with building regulations.
3. Purchasers are strongly encouraged to consult with the appropriate regulatory authorities or qualified professionals to confirm that their intended use and installation of any furniture meets all relevant legal and safety standards.

Lead times

1. These times are indicative and will be confirmed upon receipt of order.
2. If there are delays in obtaining signed off shop drawings and finishes then lead times may be extended.

Deposits

1. For orders over $50,000 a non-refundable 50% deposit is payable when the order is placed.
2. The remaining balance is payable within fourteen (14) days upon delivery of the products or completion of the installation.
3. If the completion of the project is delayed by more than four weeks, the products will be invoiced to the client, and Europlan will retain the right to levy applicable storage charges.

Validity of quote

1. The quote is valid for 30 days from date of the quote.
2. Once orders are received and there is a delay in the installation by more than 60 days from date of order we reserve the right to re price the quote.

Retentions

1. No retentions are to be withheld on the project to which the quote relates.
