Outlook Mission Bay Apartment Lockers

Outlook is contemporary living at its finest in a singularly stunning location. Located on the ridge in Kepa Road, Mission Bay, this brand-new apartment building takes full advantage of its location and spectacular outlook.

Europlan created a custom designed and locally manufactured locker solution for the basement and car parking levels of the complex. The storage lockers provide additional secure storage space for the occupiers of the apartments.

The lockers are manufactured in electro galvanised steel and were designed with a punched roof system to meet fire regulations. In the event of a fire, the roof design allows for the contents of a sprinkler to flow into the locker.

This project required two bespoke sizes of locker:

  • 2200h x 900w x 1500d mm
  • 2030h x 830w x 1500d mm

We produced a custom vinyl in a specified font and colour to create a numbering system for the doors.

Project Management
The locker design, delivery and installation were managed entirely in-house by Europlan. We worked closely with the engineers and construction team to ensure we created a fit for purpose solution that met or exceeded necessary regulations.

We paid careful attention to detail around access to site and the location of services within the car parking and basement areas of the complex. Our project team created a delivery and installation plan that solved challenges around tight access points and the size of the lockers.

Project Delivery
Constricted access into site required the lockers to be unloaded from the truck at the road side. We designed the lockers to be delivered semi built up and manually transported the parts from the truck to the basement using pallet trolleys.

The project required an effective level of communication between the construction project manager and Europlan. This allowed us to successfully navigate any site delays or changes to key milestones, ensuring we managed delivery of the lockers in line with the client’s expectations.
