Workspace Architects are part of the project team that delivered over 8,500m² of
base build refurbishment, earthquake strengthening and tenant integration at 44 The
Terrace in Wellington.
In conjunction with the overall building refurbishment, Workspace were also involved
in designing a new fit out for The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority
(EECA) and the Human Rights Commission, a co-location occupying two floors within
44 The Terrace.
EECA is the government agency that works to improve the energy efficiency of
New Zealand homes and businesses. Their purpose is to mobilise New Zealanders
to be world leaders in clean and clever energy use.
The project was designed and lead by Karys and the team at Workspace Architects in Wellington. Workspace generated an RFQ process for the project and Europlan were selected to supply the furniture for EECA.
