The Haworth Soji is a fully adjustable ergonomic task chair built around independent lumbar and armrest control, so it adapts to the person sitting in it rather than the other way round. A synchro mechanism with forward tilt follows you between typing, meetings and calls, while the digitally cut knit mesh back reduces material waste compared to traditional mesh construction.
The same Soji specification suits individual workstations, touchdown spaces and conference rooms, simplifying procurement for organisations standardising seating across a floor or rolling out furniture across multiple sites. Europlan is Haworth’s exclusive dealer in New Zealand, so Soji purchased here is the genuine chair, backed by a 12-year, 24/7 warranty.

Height: Pull up on the lever and slide the armrest up or down to support the neck and shoulders. Front to back: Grasp the armrest cap and move it forward or back to get close enough to the desk. Side to side: Grasp the armrest cap and move it closer to or further from the body to match shoulder width. Pivot: Grasp the armrest cap and rotate it toward or away from the body to suit the task.
Back tension: Turn the crank clockwise to tighten recline resistance, counter-clockwise to loosen. Don't force the crank past its limit in either direction. Pull it outward for easier operation, then push it back in. Back lock: Pull up on the lever to lock the back upright for task work. Push down to release. Lumbar support (optional): Pull up on the handles to raise the lumbar pad, push down to lower it. Adjusts across an 89mm range to match your lower back curve.
Seat height: Pull the lever up and lift out of the chair to raise the seat. Stay seated and pull the lever up to lower it. Adjusts 120mm, from 426mm to 546mm on aluminium base models. Seat depth (optional): Pull up the lever and slide the seat forward to lengthen, or backward to shorten, for different leg lengths. Forward tilt (optional): Pull up on the lever and lean forward to activate. Pull up and sit back to release.
