Europlan have been working with Auckland Transport since 2013 on a number of large projects. We have delivered over 1,200 workstations and associated furniture into 7 Auckland Transport sites and the product mix includes workstations, screens, tambour Storage, task seating and soft seating, collaborative furniture and personal storage.

As part of the product evaluation process for Auckland Transport, shortlisted participants were required to deliver solutions for an experience centre. The Experience Centre participants needed to provide for viewing, working examples of all products proposed for the project.
All Auckland Transport staff were given the opportunity to visit the ‘Experience Centre’ and confirm one product per item per category for selection to purchase. The results were acquired by way of majority voting.
The Experience Centre was available to Auckland Transport Staff for 3 months and the products were supplied with no branding or identifying labels so staff could provide impartial evaluations on the items.
Europlan were the successful participant for this process, and won the contract for Workstations, Screens, Tambour Storage, Task Seating and Soft Seating, Collaborative Furniture and Personal Storage
Our project work for Auckland Transport has required us to liaise not only with the property management team but also with the individual operating groups CEO, COO and EA's to ensure all customers within the process have their needs met. In some cases there were layout and specification changes which required immediate action which we completed without compromising project deadlines. In all examples we were required to work closely with architects, project managers and associated trades to ensure that as a group we delivered to our customer the result they required. We have managed delivery and installation during and outside of office hours to minimise disruption to business operations. Our Project Manager and Installation Manager were based on site full time during all phases of the delivery and installation.
Post occupancy KPI’s have shown an increase in service levels following project completion, prior to installing Intuity the contact centre were operating in the low 80% and post occupancy this has risen to 90%. Intuity is designed with a long-term outlook and lets users to make the most of their space, its future proofed features allow Auckland Transport to grow and reconfigure into numerous possibilities with ease.
